The record of at least 500000 retired employees would be updated through online GP fund center, said Accountant General Sindh.

SHIKARKPUR, August 08: Sindh government has started one window service to facilitate the retired as well as the heirs of deceased employee and incumbent employees of Sindh government to get their General Provident [GP] Fund at earliest while such sort of Online GP Funds centres will be established other remaining districts of Sindh by August 31, 2019 to facilitate at least 500,000 employees of Sindh while this decision has been taken on keeping an eye over the woes of retired & incumbent government servants.
This was said by Ghufran Memon, the Accountant General [AG] Sindh during an inauguration ceremony held at Accounts Office Shikarpur, here on Thursday.
Mr Memon further elaborated that the record of at least 500,000 employees of Sindh will be updated and computerised so that they may get their GP Fund payments without any hassle and delay.
Memon further added that the online system of GP Fund will curb the woes of the heirs of deceased employee because through online system it would be easy to transfer GP Fund balance from other district and to verify through online system.
Burhan Khan Lodhi, the District Accounts Officer-2 termed such decision beneficial and fruitful for retired and incumbent employees of government of Sindh and acclaimed the tremendous efforts of Mr Ghufran Memon.
Abdul Majid Rajpar & Saleem Ahmed Khokhar, the deputy accountant General Sindh, respectively, Akbar Soomro, Muhammad Usman, the District Accounts Officer Shikarpur & Ghotki, Muhammad Chuttal Maitlo, Additional District Accountant Officer, Sajjad Ahmed Shaikh, Assistant Accountant Officer, Mazhar Ali Panhwar, Bashir Ahmed Phulpoto, RB Shaik, Mashooque Ali, Zeeshan Ahmed, Shah Fahar, Sarang Shaikh, Maqbool Ahmed Soomro, and others were also flanked during the visit of Accountant General Sindh.
Earlier, Accountant General Sindh also inaugurated Online GP Fund Centre in Kashmore-Kandhkot and Jacobabad district to facilitate the people of both district as well.
In last, AG Sindh & respected DAG were honoured with Sindhi Topi and Ajraks as tradition of Sindh.
